Terms of Use
These draft terms describe the Founder Beta and must be completed by the future legal operator before public commercial launch.
1. Operator and eligibility
Replace all operator placeholders before launch. Children should use LumiQuest with parent/guardian involvement appropriate to their age and local law.
2. Educational service
LumiQuest provides educational games, printables and guided activities. It is not a school, emergency service, healthcare provider, dietitian, legal adviser or professional safety trainer.
3. Real-world activities
Parents/guardians are responsible for deciding suitability, supervision, materials, allergies, local conditions and safe participation. Follow local official guidance where safety is involved.
4. Accounts and beta data
V4 has no production account system. Browser-local progress can be lost if browser storage is cleared. Do not rely on beta progress as an official school record.
5. Intellectual property
LumiQuest branding and proprietary content may be protected by applicable rights. Printable materials are intended for the household/user license specified at launch. Third-party trademarks remain the property of their owners and are not part of LumiQuest branding.
6. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to break the service, bypass security, misuse content, scrape at harmful scale, impersonate others or use LumiQuest to collect information from children.
7. Payments
V4 collects no payments. Future paid-service terms must clearly disclose price, billing frequency, renewal/cancellation, taxes, refunds and statutory consumer rights before checkout.
8. Availability and changes
Beta features may change. Production terms should explain service availability, material changes and user notice requirements under applicable law.
9. Liability and mandatory rights
Final limitation language must be drafted for each offered region and must not exclude rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Governing law and disputes
Do not fill this section until the operator entity and launch markets are decided. Mandatory consumer jurisdiction rules can override a chosen-law clause.
